Haji Malang is a fort near kalyan on the matheran range. There is a dargah of haji malang on the hill somewhere halfway up the mountain. From kalyan there are st's every hour to the base of haji malang. Broad steps lined with  shops lead up to the dargah. There is a small settlement here and one can have something to eat in any of the small restaurants here.Above the dargah the route gets tricky.Though a good path is there the is a rock patch near the top with scree and expose.A funny arrangement has been done to tackle this. we can use a sling to clip up to the water pipes which come from the top plateau. The plateau has a few water cisterns and ruin. There is a fundoo view from here. The devni pinnacle looks huge from the top.A very good 1 day trek and very close to mumbai.......
