I like swimming very much and love to be in water. I swim in the Institute pool which is 25 m long. Swimming under our coach "Reddy sir", I have learnt a lot from the various camps held by him every summer. Have completed the beginner camp two times and the intermediate camp one time. I have swum with advanced swimmers for a year or so. I have also proved my swimming talent in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Regional and National level swimming meet in 2002 and 2003 and won some medals too. Nice fun if you are good at a sport and have an opportunity to prove it.I improved last year and am raring to go all out this year.I usually compete in my best stroke,that's the breast stroke and have won all in that stroke only.Here's the list of my acheivements...

 

Ah! Reading, such a pleasurable activity for me.I have read up a lot of books, mostly of crime fiction, a field of literature which i like immensly. I do, of course hate non-fictional books(except for some). Among the authors which i have read include Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle,Ruskin Bond and many others.

I started reading books when i was 7 years of age and then it continued to become a obsession. I started with Enid Blyton's

Famous Five Series and the Mystery series by the same author and read up the whole of the total 36 books in no time. Then started the Hardy Boys and then so on.............now the better fiction and getting better but still hate non fiction except few.

I enjoy playing football a lot and like to kick the ball around for a while. I often do 'Time Pass' by kicking my football at the wall at home.  

 

Coin collection is a very important hobby for me. I have collected a lot of coins, mostly different types from India as foreign coins are not easy to get. I have from 1 paise coins of the 1960's to 1 anna coins of the British Raj and quarter anna of the 1890's and  five rupee coins with messages behind them. There are various coins from foreign countries.the total number must be around 200, I think. I have some small den. notes too.get in touch with me if you are interested.
